About Nullarbor Cycling
G'day! My Nullarbor Cycling journey began with the Indian Pacific Wheel Ride in 2019. A bike-packing ride from Fremantle to Sydney in March each year.
I have crossed this unique landscape 5 times. Each trip is different. Some sights on my last crossing in 2025 were things I had never seen before. There's bound to be more out there yet to be seen.
Things also look different depending on the time of day, weather and other conditions. Looking forward to my next crossing planned for 2027.

Why Nullarbor Cycling?
Due to the number of times crossing the paddock, people have begun to contact me or refer other riders to me for information and advice. This was a simple way for prospective riders to access that information.
On the internet you can use maps to get close ups of the route, but they can't tell you about the actual conditions. Where can you stay if your between roadhouses? How do you stay safe with road trains? Where can you get water?
Every time I have crossed the Nullarbor I have come across riders who were heading west. In 2025 I met 5 riders and every single one was from overseas. This page is designed to allow riders from around the world be better prepared to undertake the challenge of crossing the paddock.

Experience the Nullarbor
I believe cycling is the best way to truly experience the Nullarbor. You get to see, feel, smell, and hear everything around you in a way that those speeding through in a car simply can't.
What to Expect
Nullarbor Cycling is designed to assist those thinking of making the crossing. News and blog posts on what to expect as you ride, safety tips, distances between services, camping & rest areas, and the amazing sights along the way.
